Hi, I’m Kathryn.
I’m a writer and social worker, exploring the intersection between faith, trauma, and grace.
Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’ve been given a new start in life. My 20’s were brutal: I dealt with depression, shame, vicarious trauma, and emotional and spiritual abuse, and I lost both my mother and grandmother to cancer. Now I am navigating a new decade (my 30’s) in a new city (Seattle) as a newly-married woman with my husband Eric, and life is going great!
So cheers to new beginnings! I’m still figuring things out, but I invite you to come along with me as I make sense of this mess called life. I know that beauty and grace can be found even in the darkest places, and, as I tell my story, I hope my words will help you feel a little bit less alone.
